


Marvellous Meat & Poultry
All our meat comes from local free-range farms with the highest welfare standards. What’s more we can trace all our meat right back to the field it came from. Our excellent butcher is Walter Rose & Sons, suppliers to the region's most prestigious restaurants. Our beef is aged for 21-28 days for optimum maturity before being minced freshly for us each day. We then make our 100% beef burgers using the perfect combination of pure steak and a fattier cut to give our burgers their amazing flavour. (What’s the recipe we hear you ask? You should know by now, Yammo! never tells.)As far as we can tell, we’re the only takeaway in Bath able to offer free-range chicken burgers too.
Scrumptious Sausages
We asked our friend Jamie, at PJ’s farm to make our sausages. All his top notch, free-range sausages are made using 100% pork with no fillers or bread added. Flavoured with fennel seeds, they include a cured cut and are minced on a special course grind. This means they taste just like Dani‘s favourite Salsicce Napolitane, only we know the farm and the farmer so we can guarantee the quality. A noi piace cosi. (We like it that way).
Flavoursome Fruit & Veg
Our fruit and vegetables are unsprayed and sourced locally and according to the season whenever possible.
Tasty Tomatoes
If you have ever been to Italy – southern Italy in particular – you’ll have probably remarked at some point on the amazing flavour of the tomatoes. A feature of Italy’s signature dishes, the best-tasting tomatoes are grown on the foothills of Mount Vesuvius, passed through sieves and bottled as passata. These San Marzano tomatoes benefit from the rich mineral content of the soil as well as the area’s sunny climate.
Despite not being readily available in the UK, we managed to track down a reliable supplier – so when you bite into our focaccia pizza it will taste just as good as it does in Naples itself!
Brilliant Bread
Unlike other pizza pretenders, we don’t buy in our dough frozen and ready-prepared. We make it fresh every day in our own kitchen using our secret Neapolitan recipe.
We’re also rather proud of our burger buns. In Italy and the US, the best burger bars (or paninoteca in Italian) serve theirs in a slightly sweetened brioche bun. Light and soft in texture they hold the burger, toppings and sauce without falling apart and their subtle flavour compliments the star of the show inside.
The Bertinet Bakery have produced some exceptional brioche buns for us, they are baked fresh each day and we're sure you'll agree, make the perfect base for our fantastic burgers!
Classic Coffee
If Italy has the best coffee in Europe, then Naples has the best coffee in Italy. Getting the coffee right then is a serious issue for us. You can read all about our coffee on it’s own dedicated page, but here let us just mention the importance of great milk. Get these ingredients wrong and you might as well start again. That’s why we source ours straight from Ivy House Farm. Wait until you’ve tried one of our lattes and tell us you don’t notice the difference…
Champion Cheese
We always look to source ingredients locally. However, we did have some trouble finding Italian cheeses made here in the West Country. Especially ones that tasted as good as they do in Italy. We did it though and……we were super excited to meet Tom at Westcombe Dairy, who makes the most unbelievable fresh ricotta. In fact, we’d go as far as to say it’s even better than any we’ve tasted in Naples – and that’s saying something!Real ricotta has a short shelf life and is at its best when served fresh, making it very difficult to import. We’re delighted to have found Westcombe’s delicious local variety for our desserts and pasta dishes. Come in and try some to see how much better it tastes!
